What the site provides

Calculators and converters, free of charge. There is no account, no payment, and no personal-data registration, and every calculation runs in your own browser. Nothing is charged for it — and in return no particular result, and no continuous availability, is guaranteed.

Results are for reference only

This is the most important clause in the document. Every result produced by the site is general information and rough estimation. It must not be used as the basis for legal, financial, medical, or safety decisions.

Specifically, do not use it for any of the following. Supporting figures for a procedure where an amount becomes binding, such as a tax filing, a payroll payment, or a severance settlement. Evidence attached to a contract, a lawsuit, or an administrative filing. The sole basis for a financial decision such as a loan or an investment. Medication dosage or an assessment of health. Judgements where safety is at stake, such as structural, electrical, or mechanical design.

Where such judgements are needed, have them confirmed by a qualified professional — an accountant, a labour attorney, a lawyer, a physician, a licensed engineer in the relevant field — and by the responsible authority. The site does not replace that confirmation and does not claim to.

On accuracy

Formulas and rates are entered after comparison against published standards and original statutory text, and each calculation carries tests whose expected values were worked out by hand. Results can still differ from reality, for these reasons. There is a lag between an amendment to a law or rate and its appearance here. Exceptions, deductions, and special provisions that apply to an individual case are not all modelled. The inputs themselves may be wrong. Rounding and truncation may differ from how an institution actually does it.

The site therefore makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or currency of results, and no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for loss arising from reliance on results from this site. That includes underpaid or overpaid tax and any resulting penalties, contractual loss, lost profit, and loss of data.

This does not exclude liability for the operator's wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or any other liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.

Tools may be added, changed, or removed, and the service may be discontinued, without prior notice.

What users must not do

Automated bulk requests that interfere with normal operation, probing for security vulnerabilities, and anything that harms other users or the operator are prohibited. The results themselves are yours to use freely, but reproducing the site's explanatory copy and page structure elsewhere is not permitted.

Copyright

The explanatory copy, page structure, and logo belong to the operator. The formulas and statutory text underlying the calculations are public material and are not owned by the operator. Quoting an individual result in your own report or document is fine; a citation is appreciated.

External links

Some pages link to original statutory text or institutional material. The operator is not responsible for the content or operation of linked sites.

Privacy

What is collected and how it is handled is set out separately in the Privacy Policy. In short: calculator inputs never leave your device, and what remains is anonymous traffic data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are heard by the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.

Changes to these terms

When the content changes, the last-updated date on this page is updated with it. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the changed terms.
